About Ami

Ami Hillenmeyer is a wife, mother, businesswoman and community volunteer. She has an extensive background in business, operations & finance and is prepared to tackle the fiscal obligations of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government. She worked in corporate America for 25 years, has owned several small businesses in the Lexington community and is currently running a small real estate company.  Ami holds a degree in Corporate Finance and Investment Management from the University of Alabama.  Ami believes in giving back to her community and currently volunteers at her children’s school in multiple capacities, God’s pantry & the Complexion Board and involves her children in these organizations as much as possible.  She is also a sustaining member of the Junior League of Lexington and multiple other volunteer organizations where she has taken on several leadership roles since she moved to Lexington in 2003.  Ami is invested in our community and wants to make Lexington even better for future generations.
